Our story begins in 2007, when Caroline Herbert, a hard working nurse, looking for adventure decide to take a year out and go see Australia. Fast forward 10 years and she is now married wth 2 lovely children and still in Australia !
Caroline and Joel Tuwhangai met in 2009 when he moved in with some mutual friends of theirs. Their first daughter Clodagh arrived in 2012 and they got engaged on Christmas morning 2013. Joel's proposal was nothing if not original. He did not go down on one knee as tradition might dictate, in fact he did not even get out of bed ! No bells & whistles, that's Joel, not that he needs bells & whistles to be the amazing partner & father that he is.
Joel is described as the most forgetful & unorganised person you can imagine, and Caroline is the exact opposite and yet they make it work!
Its clear to see in the images that follow that Joel's little girls have their father wrapped around their little fingers ! The latest addition to their family came in the form of their second daughter Eden, who celebrated her first birthday one week before the wedding.
